Anne Frank's "The Diary of a young girl"
I read the Book by Anne Frank “The Diary of the Young Girl”. I have been having her image over my mind most of the time these days. It is a inspiring and must read book for all young chaps who feel life has given them no fun.
Anne Frank, the one over millions of Jews who died during the World War II. Anne Frank - younger daughter of Otto Frank a respective business man in Netherlands during the Hitler’s (the worst ever ruler) rule, was making his impression on most parts of the Europe.
It was the time when anti-Semitic policies of Nazi Germany was imposed, which declared Jewish group as the lowest class and even its existence will lead to impurity to Germans. Anne Frank was born 12 June 1929 in Frankfurt, a Jewish little girl who was born and lived by German nationality but lost the same owing to the anti-Semitic policies. It was a time where Jews were prohibited even from their basic living needs. Jews were not supposed to walk on roads after a specific time, Jewish Children were prohibited from the German schools, general services from store keeper, shops, etc were not available, and they were supposed to wear a yellow star badge when they walk on roads and so and so so on. When this prohibition was getting tight and Jews were ordered to be evacuated or killed, Immigration for Jews was made more than impossible. Otto Frank who had forecasted with the help of some of his loyal friends made arrangements for a hiding at the warehouse. The hiding was behind a cupboard. In 1942 the Franks and another Family of Vandaans and Dussel the Dentist all 8 went into the hiding. They lived in silence like mice throughout the day. They could move around a bit only during the nights after the business was closed at the Warehouse. Anne Frank’s book portrays the days they had during their stay at this hiding for about 25 months. Boredom, Routine and sometimes rotten food, life was like a protocol. All of them there lived with only one hope “The War would soon end and we would get to breathe some fresh Air”. But all their hopes just went hopes when they were betrayed by one of the worker in the Warehouse (betrayer not found). They were all taken to the concentration camps. Were the men and women were split and taken to different camps. And more splits between the 2 groups again sending them to different camps. People were left in groups with no food or water and heavy labor work. People grew sick, pale and death stuck many. Many were gassed to death. Annie’s Mother, Margot, Mrs. Vandaans all died in the camp. Anne too died in the concentration camp.
This diary and few papers with Story scripts were the remnants in the hiding after the Franks were arrested and were safely kept by the friends who were supporting them during their hide and were given to Otto Frank who was the only survivor of the eight. Mr. Frank shared this among friends and relatives as a token of memory of his family and their last stages of life, which was later, published as a book. The little girl had so much of +ve notes to say even while she was undergoing such compelled and cramped life. She was only fifteen last.. and she remains ever the fifteen.. Living long ever after her life. Anne Frank’s great wish to “live on after her death” has come true.
I wish to visit the Anee Frank's museum sometime in my life. (The hiding is converted to a museum for public"
